Loot Crate offers a range of different subscription options each month. One of them is for their geek clothing items, Loot Wear, which too comes with a range of options.

This view covers a combination which I think works well, the Risky Business option. This includes a T-Shirt, a pair of boxer shorts and a pair of scoks each month.

The February 2018 geek clothing package was very delayed, due to a problem with Loot Crate acquiring the clothing items for the package. It eventually arrived in the UK in April 2018.

Everything did arrive safely, with the three items crammed into a plastic envelope. A folded information sheet with details of the items was also included (useful, as I turned out to not recognise several of them).

The standard pricing that is otherwise in place for this bundle is £16 GBP ($20 USD) per month. Note that, although Loot Crate is a US based subscription, they do charge in pounds for people from the UK, although the price can change depending on the exchange rate. This price also includes the shipping to the UK.

I’m currently on an annual subscription, which is all pre-paid at a slightly lower rate.

The February 2018 package carried the theme Protect (the same as the main Loot Crate box).

Box Contents

Pacific Rim: Uprising T-Shirt (Exclusive)

This is a movie tie in.

A colourful design with good artwork.

I value this T-Shirt at $10 USD.

How to Train Your Dragon Toothless Socks (Exclusive)

These are thick sports style socks.

I like the way the dragon body runs down the socks, with the head positioned right over the foot.

I’ll value these at my usual geek socks price point of $10 USD.

Venture Bros Boxer Shorts (Exclusive)

Loot Wear always makes comfortable boxer shorts.

This is a good geek design, although I’m not too familiar with the TV show.

I’ll use my standard boxer shorts price point of $10 USD.

Box Review

A Loot Wear package made up of all exclusive items.

It’s not the best package for me as Loot Wear have managed to go for franchises I don’t know much about. But I still like the items.

The T-Shirt is the winner here, although I’m sure that everything will get worn.

I get $30 USD of value as normal, which is well over the cost price even allowing for the shipping to the UK.

I think Loot Wear Risky Business offers a good value geek clothing subscription. Do check it out.
