The May 2020 My Geek Box is the first review box to arrive safely with me for a while as I managed to retrieve it from an old address. I have had some other paid boxes in the interim period.

If you want to subscribe to My Geek Box, this costs £23 GBP ($29 USD) on a month-by-month basis. That price does include postage within the UK.

The box doesn’t come with an information card. It’s not clear if everyone who buys the box gets the same items, or if the selection is quite varied.

Harry Potter T-Shirt

I always like the simple line art style designs and this one is really cool. Very wearable and pretty stylish for a geek T-Shirt.

I’ll use my standard value for a T-Shirt of $10 USD.

Games of Thrones Notebook

Well, this is the third time I’ve received this notebook in a My Geek Box. It was in the April 2019 My Geek Box and the December 2019 My Geek Box

It is useful, but I’m going to bring my value down a bit at this stage. I’ll value this at $5 USD.

Ant-Man EeekEez

A new line of collectible figurines! Ok, these confused me. I thought these were meant to look like scary versions of the figures, but it turns out the effect is deliberate as these are carved from wood, then hand painted at the end.

Pretty neat!

I can’t say I love the design, but this has to be better for the environment than using plastic. That is, if you forget the large display case this is packaged in.

These seem to carry a slight pricing premium on other brands, so I’ll value this at $12 USD.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo EeekEez

Another EekEez, this time from the Turtles.

Does he look scary? Or is it just me?

Again, I’ll value him at $12 USD.

Box Review

A good box with four quality items.

At the same time, I have to reflect and say only four items. But at least they were decent ones.

I love the T-Shirt and it’s cool to see this line of EekEeezes (if that is the plural of EekEez), a brand I’d not likely have come across any other way. All in all, there’s $39 USD of value, which is above the cost price.

Just please send me a different notebook next time!
