My Geek Box is a UK based service that has been offering geek subscription boxes for several years. A while back, it changed to a new format where subscribers could choose multiple different boxes each month. It’s now returned to its original format, with similar boxes of geek goods sent to everyone.

I say similar, as it looks as though different subscribers may get slightly different items. The boxes aren’t themed and don’t come with an information card.

The current price for My Geek Box is £23 GBP ($29 USD) including UK postage. There is also a cheaper My Geek Box Lite version available and the company are in the process of launching a Rick and Morty themed box.

The April 2019 box arrived safely through Royal Mail with a lot of weight to the box.

Box Contents

Fallout T-Shirt

This is a simple design, a blue T-Shirt with one of the most recognisable characters on the front.

I’m not a Fallout player, but I know this design will be popular with that fan base.

I’ll use my usual geek T-Shirt price point for the valuation here, which is $10 USD.

Call Of Duty Skull Glass

This is a heavy glass, explaining the weight inside the box.

It’s rather like a pint glass in size, but shaped with a skull design. More, I expect, one to display than to try and drink from.

You can see the Call Of Duty Glass of Amazon.com. Based on that, I’ll value this at $18 USD.

Hellboy Dorbz

I think Dorbz are my favourite out of all the Vinyl collectible type brands. The size and style work for me.

Hellboy is a great colourful example and number 469 in the range. This is the version that comes with Horns.

You can see the Hellboy with Horns Dorbz at Amazon.com. The value assessment for this item is $12 USD.

Game Of Thrones USB Drive

I believe this comes from the April 2015 Loot Crate. The capacity is only 4Gb, but this may come in handy.

I’ll value this USB drive at $4 USD.

Game Of Thrones Journal

This is a handy journal, a decent size and with a good design.

A selection of Game Of Thrones journals are available on Amazon.com. I’ll value this at $10 USD.

Game Of Thrones Mug

Another heavy item here. This one is made by UK firm Nemesis Now and is a ceramic mug showing a map design.

It looks the part. Rather styled like a tankard.

There are many Games of Thrones mugs available on Amazon.com. I can’t see this exact one, but based on the others, I’ll value this at $10 USD.

Box Review

An excellent box, packed with value. I make that $64 USD of value, which is more than double the cost price.

There are three Game Of Thrones items, which seems a lot, but I guess that tallies with the conclusion of the TV series. They are all decent enough.

I’m always glad to receive a Dorbz and I like the fact that there are no really low value items inside.

If the new style of the box continues like this, I’m happy to recommend My Geek Box. They’ve not gone in for exclusives, but they have gone for quality.
