Loot Crate offers a selection of different geek themed subscription packages, including its monthly clothing line Loot Wear.
Loot Wear itself comes in different mystery package varieties, which offer items such as T-Shirts, accessories, boxer shorts, socks and wearables each month. Most, if not all, of these geek themed items are exclusives.
I recently took advantage of a discounted subscription offer for its Risky Business bundle, which promises a T-Shirt, a pair of socks and a pair of boxers shorts each month (with the socks being one of two pairs included in the Loot Wear socks bundle).
The standard pricing that is otherwise in place for this bundle is £16 GBP ($20 USD) per month. Note that, although Loot Crate is a US based subscription, they do charge in pounds for people from the UK, although the price can change depending on the exchange rate. This price also includes the shipping to the UK.
The December 2017 Package
My first package in the subscription was the December 2017 release, with the theme of Explore (the same as with the main Loot Crate box). This arrived safely in the UK, but was delivered very late, as you may see with some of the confusion on the unpacking video.
One positive is that this is delivered in a plastic envelope, so fits straight inside the letter box with no messing around waiting for deliveries.
Despite being late, this did arrive safely, with a fold out information booklet inside with details of the items. One slight disappointment is that Loot Crate did not send out an original pair of socks this time, as their order did not arrive with them. They included a random pair from a previous box instead.
Box Contents
Rick and Morty T-Shirt (Exclusive)
This is a good vibrant design from this popular show.
I value this using my standard T-Shirt pricing at $10 USD.

Kill Bill Socks (Exclusive)
This was the make-up pair of socks, which I believe was originally part of the August 2016 Loot Crate.
It looks like these were in most of the Loot Wear packages this time too.
A decent enough design to add some brightness to the day.
I’ll value these at my usual geek socks price point of $10 USD.

Samurai Jack Boxer Shorts (Exclusive)
Some geek underwear! I believe this is my first pair ever from a mystery box.
A distinctive black and white design for these soft-to-the-touch boxers.
As my first pair of boxer shorts, I also have to establish a standard price point. I think these work out at $10 USD.

Box Review
A pretty good geek package. Despite being late, this is full of items that will get worn.
I get a total value of $30 USD, which is suitably above the cost price.
Having an old pair of socks to make up the package is something of a get-out, but at least they’re a decent enough pair that I don’t already own.
I’m looking forward already to receiving this geek collection again next month.
