Loot Crate is one of the more mainstream geek subscription box. This review, for November 2017, is the final box I picked up as part of a three month discount offer.

The theme for November 2017 was Unite 2.0, a follow up to a previous theme. The contents arrived safely in the UK in a medium weight box, slightly bigger than usual.

For normal monthly pricing, shipped to the UK, you’re looking at £24 GBP ($30 USD). That price does alter sometimes depending on the exchange rate as Loot Crate charge in GBP for sales to the UK.

The box came with a mini magazine, including information about the items.

Box Contents

Voltron T-Shirt (Exclusive)

I have absolutely no memory of Voltron, although I was a child of the 80s. It was clearly a hit in the US, but I wonder if it aired in the UK?

Putting that aside, this is a good colourful T-Shirt and I like the 8-Bit style of the graphics.

I value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.

Overwatch Widowmaker Funko POP! Vinyl (Exclusive)

It’s always good to have a Funko POP! Vinyl in a geek box, especially if it’s an exclusive.

This one looks to be the same design as the main release, but with some colour variants for the costume.

It’s pretty neat.

The main Widowmaker Funko POP! Vinyl is available on Amazon.com. Using that as a base, I’ll value this at $12 USD.

Power Rangers Figure (Exclusive)

This is a mini figure and is one of five randomly available in the box. I got the Black Ranger.

The design works really well here.

I’ll value this at $5 USD.

Justice League of America Comic

This is a reprint of the 1960 comic that launched Justice League of America and was originally printed as The Brave and the Bold #28.

As a reprint, I’ll value this at a typical comic price of $3 USD.

Unite Pin (Exclusive)

According to the mini magazine, this represents a squad of united heroes.

It also unlocks a downloadable game.

I’ll value the pin at $1 USD.

Box Review

Pretty good. I get $31 USD of value, which is almost spot on to the cost price.

The items are all good quality, but there’s nothing I feel really passionate about here. The POP! may be worth more, but it’s not a franchise I follow.

I do like the colourful T-Shirt design and the small Power Ranger figure feels like it’s had more thought put into it than some of the equivalent items in recent months.

You can’t go too far wrong with Loot Crate. There’s always something of interest included to look at.
