Infinity Crates is quite a new geek box subscription service operating from within the UK.

There are several unique features advertised for Infinity Crates, including that some of the items will be personally curated based on the lists of geek interests you supply the company. As well as that, they promise a T-Shirt and a POP Vinyl in every box.

The March 2015 Infinity Crates box, the first one I’ve purchased, arrived with me through Royal Mail on Thursday 26 March 2015. I didn’t receive shipping notification, so I don’t know how long shipping took. The box itself is very plain and non-descript, so it wasn’t obvious that this was from Infinity Crates until the box got opened.

Cost, including shipping, within the UK was £16.99 (about $26 USD at current exchange rates), but there are discounts to £14.99 available with a longer subscription. Shipping is available to the US, but additional shipping charges apply.

Box Review

Hands down, this is easily one of the best geek crates I’ve received. I really appreciate the extra effort that’s gone into choosing items that are a joy to unwrap.

The TARDIS T-Shirt is the standout item for me. I prefer T-Shirts that are relatively plain, so the simple design (in TARDIS blue) suits me to a tee. It’s also 10 years since Doctor Who returned to our TV screens, so perfect timing.

The Howard The Duck POP is a recent release, so really showing the value for the box. It’s also a bobblehead, which is rather cool.

The other items are all nice things to own, showing the theme. I suspect that the badges and keyring will end up with all my other badges and key rings at some point, but they come across as more than the filler you get in some other boxes.

Good to see several exclusive items from such a small company as well, and they’re not the “mass produced” exclusives or overstock items you get from some of the other services.

Infinity Crates is a winner for me and comes wholeheartedly recommended.
