The theme for the December 2015 edition of Infinity Crates was Dynamic Duos. This was a theme offering a lot of potential, since it could pull upon so many different parts of popular culture.
Infinity Crates is a UK based geek subscription box. Each month, it guarantees a Funko POP! Vinyl and a T-Shirt. Some items are chosen from a list of subscriber interests so as to give some personalisation.
The standard monthly price for Infinity Crates is also among the lowest of the different boxes at £16.99 GBP ($27 USD). Discounts are available for longer subscriptions.
The box contained an information card, but only contained pictures of the items, but no text. Some of this month’s items weren’t the most obvious and did take some detective work to decipher.
Box Contents
Batman T-Shirt (Exclusive)
This is a clever design, using the Bat symbol to provide an approximation of the Batman mask.
It did take a bit of looking at the design for me to figure this out, as it’s quite abstract, but the subtlety also works in the T-Shirts favour.
I’m not the biggest fan of white T-Shirts but the colour scheme works.
I’ll value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.
Family Guy Ray Gun Stewie Funko POP! Vinyl
Very happy with this one. I’ve had several popular comedy cartoon style series on my Infinity Crates likes list for a while, but it’s very rare these are reflected in the contents.
Stewie is slightly smaller than the other POP! Vinyls that I own, but that makes perfect sense.
You can buy the Family Guy Ray Fun Stewie Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com. This is a recent release that typically sells for around $10 USD.
Pikachu Hanger
This is a small item in plush style material, with a chain attached, so I presume that it’s intended to hang from a door or cupboard handle or similar.
This does have the Pokemon logo on the attached label, but it’s not clear if this is an official item.
I’ll assign a $5 USD value.
Family Guy Brian Socks
I actually purchased quite a few pairs of Family Guy socks as Christmas presents in December 2014, so I know that there are lots of designs available for these at low prices.
This is a fun item to have included. As a single pair, I’ll value them slightly higher than the bulk buy price, at $5 USD.
Goomba Mini Figure
This is a very small plastic item, an inch or so tall.
As it’s the holiday season, I’ll equate it to the type of item that you might find in a Christmas cracker.
These sell cheaply in bulk – as a single item I’ll value it at $2 USD.
Supernatural Coaster
I’ve actually never seen the show. I assume that this coaster was specially printed for the box.
Again, I’ll value this at $2 USD.
Spider-Man Poster
This is another abstract poster, in the typical long and thin style.
This poster I just couldn’t decipher until I watched another unboxing video. And yes, I assumed that this was a portrait style poster when I took the photo.
It’s a decent enough design, but not something that I’d display. I typically value these at $2 USD.

Box Review
Thumbs up to this Infinity Crates. It isn’t the highest value box (I make that $36 USD), but there has been a decent effort made with the items inside.
The standout item has to be the Stewie POP! and I’d be happy to receive the other items in the series.
There are still quite a few filler items, which will just end up quickly in the back of a drawer, so there is still some room for improvement. I would still like to a third item with carries some decent value in each box.
At this price point, Infinity Crates is a company that this is well worth your support. It is one of the boxes that I always look forward to receiving each month.
