Horror Block is a monthly geek subscription box containing horror and terror inspired mystery goods. This Horror Block is a diversion from the regular monthly block. Instead, it is a special Grab Block – an occasional offer of previous items from Horror Block at a discounted price.
The Grab Block idea is a great way to try out a new block and see if it’s for you.
I’m not the greatest horror fan (or the most knowledgeable person about horror TV and films), but I like the opportunity to get some of the items that were previously available, as well as the small financial saving.
Delivery to the UK for this one took under two weeks, arriving with the Grab Blocks for both Arcade Block and Nerd Block. The pricing for this one, including delivery was $28.49 USD which is roughly 19 GBP.
The Grab Block arrived in the fun, blood inspired, Horror Block packaging. The only slight hiccup is that I received the same item as in the Nerd Block Grab Block, which arrived at the same time.

Box Review
Disappointing to get another Gremlin. This is a soft toy, but with solid hands, feet and ears.
I like the T-Shirt, as brown as a colour works for me. I didn’t immediately get the reference, but this one is fun.
The Godzilla hanger is pretty small. I believe it’s designed to hang over a shoe, although I’d personally find that annoying. He’ll probably end up hanging on the end of a cupboard door or anything.
I’ve never owned a stress heart before! Nice and different.
I haven’t opened the two little packaged toys as they’ll make little mystery gifts. I think these are actually small items, almost ball shaped. The one I can read is named “Brain Rot”, looking brain shaped.
The big item is the film cell. A Nightmare On Elm Street in a genre defining film and very happy to have this one. Mine is dark, so quite hard to see, but it’s Freddy Krueger pointing.
No magazine in this one, although the regular Horror Block does come with one each month. And, of course, no information card, as every Grab Block is different.
I think this was a good selection. Whilst I wouldn’t get Horror Block every month, I’d certainly buy more of the Grab Blocks.
