Sticker Swaps Geek Box Review – March 2017

Published 11 April 2017·2 min read·3 min video

Sticker Swaps has since stopped running. This review is kept as a record of what the box was like; every edition we opened is on the Sticker Swaps page.

Sticker Swaps provided this product free of charge for review purposes. This does not affect the editorial content of the review.

There are a lot of geek subscription packages out there now, appealing to different audiences. Sticker Swaps is one that I haven’t seen before. They send an envelope of stickers to you each month, usually containing 10 stickers.

The stickers are chosen to be unique and collectible, coming from collections that are hard to access in the UK, or which are provided by artists directly to Sticker Swaps.

Sticker Swaps is posted from within the UK and comes in a simple envelope that fits right in your letterbox. That’s very convenient for delivery. Despite that, the pricing is in dollars, with a monthly subscription costing $10 USD (£8 GBP).

Inside the envelope, most of the stickers came in a smaller sealed March 2017 package. The logo sticker came in the main envelope, but outside that package.

Due to the nature of Sticker Swaps, I won’t attempt to assign a value to each sticker, just to give an overall flavour of the contents of the package.

Box Contents

Sushi Stickers

These are rather fun. Three small stickers of pieces of sushi.

Broken Trophy Sticker

This is a large sticker with a clever design.

Skulls Sticker

I think this is my favourite sticker in the package. Three coloured skulls on a single larger sticker.

Dog Sticker

This is a rather stretched face. Slightly scary.

Character Stickers

Two fun characters here.

Alien Sticker

This cartoon like fellow could be used in many ways. I’ve gone for alien.

Logo Sticker

The final item shows the company logo.

Box Review

It’s good to be able to check out different geek interest packages and Sticker Swaps certainly fits the bill.

There are some fun designs here and I can see this being a subscription that’s interesting to open each month.

I haven’t attempted a value assessment, but there are 10 stickers here and a standard price of $10 USD, so you’d be looking at a value of $1 USD per sticker. I think that’s fair for unique stickers like these. Most are produced in small quantities, so you’re unlikely to find them anywhere else.

If you’re into collecting and displaying stickers, the Sticker Swaps envelope is worth you taking a look at.
