My Geek Box Review – April 2021

Published 2 January 2022·1 min read·5 min video

My Geek Box has since stopped running. This review is kept as a record of what the box was like; every edition we opened is on the My Geek Box page.

The video loads only when you press play, so the page stays fast.

My Geek Box provided mystery box free of charge for review purposes. This does not affect the editorial content of the review.

Part of The Hut Group, My Geek Box is one of the longest established geek boxes available to subscribers in the UK.

They offer a reasonably priced monthly subscription. The price within the UK is £23 GBP ($29 USD) on a month-by-month basis. That includes postage.

The April 2021 box arrived in My Geek Box branding, something which doesn’t always happen.

Box Contents

Big Bang Theory Figures

This is quite a cool set of square figures, released by Pixel.

I’ll value them at $10 USD.

USS Budapest Starship

I’ve had a few of these collectible ships in boxes, which are nice to own.

I’ll stick with the established value of $15 USD here.

Batman Mystery Bag

These are always fun to look inside. I got Robin, with the figure painted entirely in black and white.

I’ll value this at $5 USD.

Batmobile

Another collection, but I have to say this is one of the coolest items I’ve had for a while. I didn’t realise there were enough versions of the Batmobile to establish a whole series.

This one is billed at Batman: The Return #1. It is displayed well and I’ll be hanging onto it.

I value this at $15 USD.

Box Review

There’s good value here with $45 worth of geek items.

The highlight is the Batmobile, but I’m also happy to have added another starship to my collection.

I like the way My Geek Box is building up these collections with items that aren’t easily available unless you subscribed to the first time around.

Box update
