Every few months, Nerd Block makes a special offer where they package up a collection of vinyls, including those left over from their families of boxes, and package them up under the Vinylpalooza branding.

Vinylpalooza 3.0 is the third in the series, but it’s the first of the series that I’ve acquired, being attracted by the guarantee of both Funko POP! Vinyls and Dorbz. These offers are always a gamble, as they could include duplicate items from previous boxes and there are a huge variety of franchises that could be inside, but I decided that this one was worth a try.

The price for this Vinylpalazoo was reasonable, coming in at $32.94 USD (£26 GBP) including shipping to the UK.

Since the combination of items inside this special box varies, there was no information card included. The box did include $10 credit for Shirt Punch in the form of a voucher code. However, using that within the UK is very difficult, so I have not included this within the overall value assessment.

Box Contents

Ronan From Guardians Of The Galaxy Funko POP! Vinyl

This comes from the POP! Marvel collection.

It’s a good looking design, even though I’m not really a fan of the film.

You can get the Ronan Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com. I’ll value this at $10 USD.

Grey Worm From Game Of Thrones Funko POP! Vinyl

A great Game of Thrones POP! This one looks the part as well.

You can see Grey Worm Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com.

Based on the selling price, I’ll value this at $14 USD.

Angel From Buffy The Vampire Slayer Funko POP! Vinyl

One of the key characters from Buffy here. I didn’t really follow this series first time around, but it’s one that I think I should make an effort to watch.

A decent Funko POP! Vinyl. You can buy the Angel Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com.

The value is $10 USD.

Long Duck Dong From Sixteen Candles Funko POP! Vinyl

This is a character from the POP! Movies collection that I know nothing about. The design is decent enough, but this one is unexciting to me.

I’ve not even heard of the film, which is a teen comedy from the 1980s. I don’t think that it was hit in the UK, but perhaps it was better known in the US.

You can get the Long Duck Dong Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com.

The typical value is $11 USD.

Groot From Guardians Of The Galaxy Dorbz

The second item from Guardians The Galaxy in the box. I do like the size and design of Dorbz, so glad to have had some of them inside Vinylpalooza 3.0.

I’m not too excited about this one, but the design is good.

You can check out the Groot Dorbz on Amazon.com.

The value I’m assigning for the Groot Dorbz is $8 USD.

Rocket From Guardians Of The Galaxy Dorbz

To finish off the box, yet another item from Guardians of the Galaxy.

At least it’s another Dorbz (fitting perfectly in the box) and it’s one of the more interesting designs.

You can get your own Rocket Dorbz on Amazon.com.

The value for this one is $7 USD.

Box Review

This is a good way to quickly grow a collection of vinyl figures.

There’s a total of $60 USD of value here, which is almost double the box cost price.

I was very lucky with these, as although I did buy boxes where these were some of the possible vinyls inside, I don’t think that I’ve ended up with any duplicates.

One downside of this collection. There was a lack of variety and way too much there from Guardians of Galaxy (not a franchise I particularly like).

I like Vinylpalooza and it’s a good offer to watch out for in the future. Lots of fun.
