Depending when you’re reading this, you may think it’s rather late to be reviewing a December 2018 package. Well, it is. The December 2018 Loot Wear Risky Business didn’t arrive until well into the middle of 2019.

This was delayed due to production problems, which doesn’t tell us much, but this did arrive eventually, in the usual Loot Wear plastic envelope.

There are several choices of Loot Wear geek clothing combinations. This one, Risky Business, comes with socks, boxer shorts and a T-Shirt every month.

For that, you can expect to pay £18 GBP ($23 USD) per month. That includes the surcharge for UK shipping. The price has been known to change based on the exchange rate. Discounts are available for longer subscriptions.

This package came with the theme Scavenge and did include the information sheet with details of the items.

Box Contents

Die Hard T-Shirt (Exclusive)

This is a colourful design with one of the most memorable Die Hard scenes.

I’ll price this with my usual T-Shirt value of $10 USD.

Die Hard Socks (Exclusive)

More Die Hard! These socks are rather boring, but they have non-skid “glass shard” type feet on them, which would make them good to wear indoors.

I’ll use my standard value for pair of socks, which is $10 USD.

Box Review

I’m not much of a fan of Die Hard, so this package was disappointing, particularly as it is also missing a pair of boxer shorts, which I hope will arrive down the line.

The two items give $20 USD of value, below the cost price. But this should go up when the boxer shorts arrive.

Loot Wear is normally good value as an introductory geek clothing option, but there are a lot of problems with this subscription at present.

Box update
