The Infinity Crates for September 2016 came with the theme Crew, although looking at my items and those received by other reviewers, I seem to have received a slightly different box to many. There was also no information card in the box to compare this with.
I think that this may stem from an issue where I wasn’t sent the August 2016 box first time around, so it may be that Infinity Crates just didn’t have the right items on hand. On the plus side, this should make the review more interesting than usual, as there are slightly different items included.
Infinity Crates always delivers a Funko POP! Vinyl and a T-Shirt and this box was no different. These items are also personalised, which means that they’re chosen from a set of interests that you’ve previously supplied. The matches are usually good, although there can’t always be matches for every interest from the selection available.
There are also a selection of different pricing options available for Infinity Crates.
This review is for the main offering, the Classic Crate. This currently goes for £19.99 GBP ($26 USD) including delivery within the UK.
The other options include the Premium Crate at £26.99 GBP, the Kids Crate at £19.99 GBP and the T-Shirt Only Crate at £10.99 GBP.
As a long-standing subscriber, I pay for several months of subscription at a time and so pay a slightly lower rate for the Classic Crate.
The box arrived safely, delivered through Royal Mail, in the customised Infinity Crates packaging.
Box Contents
Avengers T-Shirt (Exclusive)
I always like T-Shirts printed on red stock, so this simple silhouette style design works well for me.
I’ll value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.
BB8 T-Shirt (Exclusive)
Having a second T-Shirt in the box is rather a surprise, but I guess that this says something about the unusual collection of items.
The downside for me is that this is a duplicate. I received the same T-Shirt in the January 2016 Infinity Crates.
This one comes printed on grey with an interesting fluorescent style design.
I’ll assign the standard $10 USD as the T-Shirt value.
Dalek Funko POP! Vinyl
The bronze Dalek is really cool and under normal circumstances I would have been happy to have received this in Infinity Crates.
But, unfortunately Infinity Crates already sent this to me in the July 2015 Infinity Crates box.
I know it’s a while ago, but the records should still be there somewhere.
I guess that Daleks come as part of a larger crew, so having more than one isn’t a problem. And, this is a good looking Funko.
You can see the Dalek Funko POP! Vinyl on Amazon.com.
The typical selling price for this is $10 USD.
Harley Quinn Dorbz
I’m a big fan of Dorbz. I like the small form factor of these.
This is a good tie in with the Suicide Squad movie and the character looks the part.
You can see the Harley Quinn Dorbz from Funko on Amazon.com.
The typical value is $8 USD.
Justice League Bottle Opener
This is a small bottle opener, with a Justice League print on the front and a keyring attached.
Very unofficial, I’m sure, but might be useful to some. I suspect that this is an exclusive, but without the information card, it’s impossible to say for sure.
Not something I will use, but might be useful for some.
I value this at $2 USD.
USB Memory Stick
This is a useful item. If you pull the character’s head off, it reveals the USB port.
I did receive a similar USB memory stick (different character) in the January 2016 Infinity Crates. Based on that, I assume that this is 2Gb capacity.
I’ll also stick with the $5 USD figure for the value that I used for the previous review.
The Joker Sticker
This is a small simple sticker, probably from the Infinity Crates in-house artist and cut into an interesting shape.
I don’t tend to hold onto these, so I won’t assign a value, but many will like it.
Harley Quinn Stickers
A second Harley Quinn item in the box, this is an official item with 12 stickers on two small sheets.
Quite a few of the stickers are small versions of the playing card suits, but there are some interesting designs included on there as well.
Although I don’t have much use for stickers, when they are included I’m always glad to have official items.
These Harley Quinn Stickers are available on Amazon.com. I can only see these available from one seller, so that price seems rather inflated to me, but I’ll use a higher end value of $10 USD in line with other similar items.
Batman Wallet
I’ve been receiving a lot of wallets in geek boxes, but this has to stand out as a favourite as it’s one of the only ones that I’d consider using.
A lot of these are mighty wallets, which are made with paper. These just don’t feel substantial to me. I like to know that the wallet is in my pocket, so this more traditional and substantial feel is better for me.
There’s plenty of space for notes and cards, but unfortunately nowhere for coins (still in common use in the UK), which is something of the downside.
The Batman design is really cool and this is an official DC item, made by Bioworld.
There are many Batman wallets available on Amazon.com. I can’t see this exact one, but the values are reassuringly expensive. I’ll record a value here of $12 USD.

Box Review
Full kudos to Infinity Crates for sending me an interesting box, particularly considering the circumstances.
I make this box $67 USD of value, which I think is as valuable an Infinity Crates as I’ve ever received.
Now, that value unfortunately includes several duplicate items and is padded out by the T-Shirts, but still, I’m very happy with this box.
Under normal (non-duplicate) circumstances, the Dalek would have been a perfect choice. I do really like the Dorbz as well and I put value on the interesting wallet.
I hope that the problems with my Infinity Crates delivery get sorted out for the next box. There’s always great potential with Infinity Crates. If you’re in the UK, Infinity Crates are well worth a look.
