Arcade Block Welcome Shirt Review – May 2016

Published 5 June 2016·1 min read·3 min video

Arcade Block has since stopped running. This review is kept as a record of what the box was like; every edition we opened is on the Arcade Block page.

The video loads only when you press play, so the page stays fast.

The Nerd Block family of boxes has recently had a good offer available, where new subscribers could choose a free mystery T-Shirt from one of their previous ranges of boxes.

I took advantage of a new subscription and this allowed me to choose a Welcome Shirt from  Arcade Block. It’s a box that I don’t get very often, so I thought that there was a good chance here of avoiding duplicates.

If you are interested in the main Arcade Block, the standard month-by-month subscription costs $32.49 USD including shipping to the UK. That’s £24 GBP at the current exchange rate.

The T-Shirt arrived in a decent plastic envelope with the Shirt Punch branding and a Welcome Shirt sticker. As this was a remainder item, there was no specific information card.

Box Contents

Super Mario T-Shirt (Exclusive)

As expected, there was only one item in the package, but it was this cool T-Shirt.

It’s a dark blue background with a Mario print, half of which shows him in skeletal form. There might be another reference there that I’ve missed, but this T-Shirt works well for me.

This originally came with the November 2014 Arcade Block, so this is one from the archives.

I value this at the T-Shirt standard price of $10 USD.

Box Review

A great T-Shirt. As a one-off bonus, there’s not much more to add, but I was pleased that this was a character I like and it also wasn’t a duplicate.

It’s been a while since I’ve picked up a full Arcade Block, as the contents have been variable, but I must do so again soon.

If you are a gamer, I suggest  that you check Arcade Block out.

Box update

Arcade Block has since stopped running, so the subscription link that originally sat here has been retired. You can still browse every Arcade Block review on this site.
