I’ve grown to like TeeBlox, which is a US based subscription service based around T-Shirts. Each month, you get a package to your door with a T-Shirt and other items, which seem to now always be a badge and a comic from the archives.

It’s a fun subscription which has a variety of themes to choose from.

My April 2017 subscription came with the theme Marvel, which was interesting, as I thought I was subscribed to a different theme. I remember looking through the themes on the subscriber panel of the website, but not confirming, as it wasn’t clear to me if this changed existing subscriptions, or started a new subscription. Not sure if that caused the change or not?

In any case, I’m keen to run through different themes and Marvel is certainly one on my list.

The TeeBlox packages are also different to many on the market as they only contain official T-Shirts and the T-Shirts aren’t produced exclusively for TeeBlox. Different buyers of the same theme can receive different T-Shirts. That certainly keeps things interesting. And, I presume that almost everyone gets different comics (not sure about the badges). Due to the unique nature, there’s no information card inside.

My TeeBlox arrived safely, taking about two weeks from when this was posted. Slightly later than usual, but this isn’t a delivery that really dates. It was also delivered for its UK leg by Yodel, one of the least reliable carriers in the UK. Thankfully, they put this in the letterbox (being a plastic envelope, this fits) and didn’t require a singature.

The standard pricing for this subscription is $25 USD (£20 GBP) when paid on a monthly basis. I received a discount by ordering during a sale and paying for a year’s subscription in advance.

Box Contents

Ant Man T-Shirt

A great official Marvel T-Shirt. You don’t get the full view on the unboxing video, but this is Ant Man shown in different sizes.

This is on grey stock and is a soft and wearable T-Shirt.

I value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.

Kingpin Comic

This dates back to August 2003 and is Volume 1 Issue 1. This didn’t come bagged but is in decent reasonable condition.

The cover price at the time was $2.50 USD. These are always difficult to value. I’ll go for a value of $2 USD.

Wolverine Badge

A simple badge. This came packaged in with the T-Shirt.

I value this at $1 USD.

Box Review

Some fun Marvel items inside TeeBlox. I think this is a much better choice for me than Movies and TV Shows.

I get $13 USD of value using my calculations. This is always a tricky subscription to recommend in the UK, but if you can pick this up during a sale, you’ll get a good deal.

Many will also value the T-Shirts higher than I do. This Ant Man T-Shirt is one of the better ones.

If you’re buying in the USA where postage costs are lower, you get a very good deal with TeeBlox. Definitely a subscription that I’m glad I’ve taken out.
