My Geek Box provided mystery box free of charge for review purposes. This does not affect the editorial content of the review.

The September 2019 My Geek Box arrived in a much larger box than usual, although it’s not clear why, as the items would have fit in the regular box.

If you want to subscribe to My Geek Box, it goes for £23 GBP ($29 USD) on a month-by-month basis. That price include postage within the UK.

This geek mystery box from a UK firm always contains interesting items, but does not come with an information card.

Box Contents

Rick And Morty T-Shirt

This is an official branded T-Shirt.

A simple grey T-Shirt with a black outline printed on. It will do the job for fans of the franchise.

I’ll apply my standard T-Shirt value here of $10 USD.

Fallout Nuka Cola Pin (Exclusive)

Even as someone who has never played Fallout. Nuka Cola is a brand I recognise.

Unusually, this is billed as an exclusive, with My Geek Box printed in the top left corner and a sticker on the back saying this is the Quantum edition. The pin is manufactured by FaNaTtiK.

There are lots of Fallout Nuka Cola pins available on Amazon.com. I can’t see this one, or even one that looks like it could be a version that this is a variant of.

I find it difficult to assign a high value to pins, even though this comes nicely pacakged. For this one, I’ll go with $4 USD.

Fallout Sunset Sarsaparilla Pin (Exclusive)

A second Fallout pin and an another exclusive. Nice logo, but I know little about this one.

I’ll value this again at $4 USD.

Rick And Morty Mr Meeseeks Coin

Another Rick and Morty item, this time in the form of a coin. My Geek Box has got into the habit of including a collectible coin every month.

Again, this is made by FaNaTtik.

There was another Rick and Morty coin in the series in the My Geek Box for August 2019.

I’ll stick with the same value, which is $5 USD.

Star Trek The Next Generation The Space Between Book

My Geek Box has been including volumes of the Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection in recent months. This time, the box includes Volumes 5 and 6.

Volume 5 is this TNG collection, billed as six stories from IDG which take place in gaps between television stories. There’s also one issue from Gold Key comics from the 1960s.

I’ll use the price point I’ve established for these of $8 USD.

Star Trek Nero Book

And this is Volume 6 from the collection, focused on an IDW series set before the 2009 Star Trek movie.

Again, I’ll value this at $8 USD.

Box Review

A good My Geek Box, but not quite at the level of recent months.

I get $39 USD of value, which is above the cost price.

It’s missing a big item, like a Funko POP! Vinyl. And there are several items which don’t carry as much value to me, like coins and pins.

I do like the developing collection of Star Trek books. Something interesting to read and they really improve the box for me.

My Geek Box is a lot of fun. Do check out what they have to offer.
