My Geek Box provided mystery box free of charge for review purposes. This does not affect the editorial content of the review.
The July 2020 My Geek Box reached me safely after a bit of a mess trying to arrange redelivery through Royal Mail.
This box comes from The Hut Group and contains a selection of geek interest items each month. There is no information card provided, so I don’t know if all the boxes have the same contents or not. They do tend to be interesting and branded items, but the box does not usually come with any exclusives.
If you want to subscribe to My Geek Box, the price including postage within the UK is £23 GBP ($29 USD) on a month-by-month basis.
Box Contents
Jurassic World T-Shirt
This is just a cool design. The lettering, the colour scheme and the dinosaur all come together perfectly.
One for the wear pile!
I’ll use my standard value for a T-Shirt of $10 USD.
Doctor Strange Eekeez
These are wooden hand painted figures, giving them a slightly strange and scary effect.
They have been in a few My Geek Boxes recently and are something of an oddity.
They do look good on display. For some reason, my one has been boxed so we can only see his reverse.
I’ll value this at $10 USD.
Wreck-It Ralph Eekeez
A second Eekeez, this one being an officially Disney licensed item.
I like the look of this one. Once again, I’ll use the value of $10 USD.
Batman The Long Halloween Part 2 Book
I love receiving books in geek boxes, but having part 2 of something is just random.
This is an Eaglemoss collection, containing reprints of 7 Batman issues from 1996 to 1997, as well as Detective Comics #66, originally published in 1942.
These collections are nicely done, but they are rather for completists.
I’ll value this slightly below the official cover price at $10 USD.

Box Review
You can’t complain about the value of this My Geek Box. I get $40 USD of value, which is above the cost price.
I like the fact that there are no really cheap filler items. Figures are always worth including, there’s a high quality T-Shirt, as well as a book (even if this one isn’t a perfect fit).
My Geek Box know their audience.
These boxes are always a lot of fun to look inside as not everyone receives the same items. Do check out My Geek Box if you like to get a good mix of geek items sent to your door every month.
