WWE Slam Crate Geek Box Review – February 2017

I enjoyed my first WWE Slam Crate. Unusually for me, I didn’t remember to cancel in time, so also received a second one. Not a major concern, as I may well have resubscribed anyway, but this always comes across a premium priced box when delivered to the UK.

The box bills itself as containing all exclusive WWE items, so popular for sports entertainment and wrestling fans.

Delivery of this one to the UK is rather slow, so although this is the February 2017 box, it didn’t arrive until March 2017 – after many of the March boxes had already reached me. The large box did arrive safely, with the delivery completing through Royal Mail.

Pricing to the UK changes automatically based on the exchange rate.

This should work out as $45 USD (£36 GBP) for a single crate. There’s also the risk of UK residents having to pay import tax, although I haven’t been stung for this yet.

The box came with the theme Road to Wrestlemania, including a fold out poster of The Undertaker, with details of the items and a short interview with Charlotte on the back. I haven’t included this in the valuation.

Box Contents

Seth Rollins T-Shirt (Exclusive)

A nice design on grey stock which has also been worn on WWE TV.

I value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.

The Rock Figure (Exclusive)

A 4″ metal figure of one of the best known wrestlers from the Attitude Era.

It looks like this is a variant figure. The main version (M211) has the Rock bare chested. In this exclusive version (M220), he’s wearing a shirt. But I can’t find the figure for sale online to link to.

Based on the pricing of similar items, I’ll value this at $15 USD.

WWE Attitude Era Championship Belt Pin (Exclusive)

I’m not much of a pin person, but this metal championship belt pin is large and well made.

Based on the pricing of a similar pin in the previous WWE Slam Crate, I’ll value this at $5 USD.

WWE Trading Cards (Exclusive)

These are three exclusive trading cards from Topps. They include John Cena, Charlotte Flair and Kevin Owens.

There’s also an offer for a free digital pack of trading cards.

Very difficult to know how to value three cards, even though they are exclusives. I’ll assign a value of $2 USD.

WWE World Heavyweight Title Waist Pack (Exclusive)

This is rather cool. It’s a pack that fits around your waist to carry items, but which also looks like the World Heavyweight Championship belt.

I’ll value this at $15 USD.

Box Review

Some fun WWE items.

I get $47 USD of value here, which is right on the cost price. Those people living in locations with lower postage costs may see more value.

The Rock figure is the one that carries the most value to me. The T-Shirt is good too. There are no valueless items, although the pin and the trading cards are comparively cheap.

If you’re a WWE fan, I think you’ll enjoy this box. It will certainly be one of the wrestling related boxes that form part of my rotation.
