Is this the most delayed geek subscription package of all time?
The October 2018 Loot Wear Risky Business, received in September 2019. Just one month away from being a year late.
What can I say? Loot Wear (and Loot Crate) have had major problems, but at least this package, with boxer shorts, T-Shirt and socks, arrived with me. It also had the fold-out information sheet with the theme Cursed. Such a fitting theme, as this does rather seem like it’s a cursed subscription.
If you order this subscription now, you can expect to pay £18 GBP ($23 USD) per month. That includes the surcharge for UK shipping. The price has been known to change based on the exchange rate. Discounts are available for longer subscriptions.
Box Contents
Jumanji T-Shirt (Exclusive)
This is a green T-Shirt with a subtle print, which is a style of T-Shirt I tend to like.
I’ll price this with my usual T-Shirt value of $10 USD.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Socks (Exclusive)
Colourful red and yellow Crew style socks. A decent design.
I’ll use my standard value for pair of socks, which is $10 USD.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Boxer Shorts (Exclusive)
More Buffy! Not the most exciting underwear in the world, but these will get worn.
I’ll use my usual value for these of $10 USD.

Box Review
The biggest surprise of this package is it actually arrived. Even better, it had the boxer shorts in, something which has been rather continually missing.
The items for this one, luckily, are for vintage franchises. So they haven’t dated too badly. Personally, I’m not a big Buffy fan, so would have liked more variety, but at least the package I thought would never arrive, is here.
The value holds up. At $30 USD, this is above the cost price.
Is Loot Wear worth a punt?. Right now, I’ll leave that one to your judgement.
