Comic Block is one of those boxes that I tend to buy every so often, mainly because the selection of comics and contents interests me, rather than because I’m expecting any great value.
This box comes with three comics each month, an exclusive T-Shirt and one further item.
Interestingly, this looks like it will be one of the final months in the current format. The Comic Block site is advertising a larger sized crate in the future.
The current price for this box, including postage to the UK, is $26.49 USD (£18 GBP).
This didn’t arrive in the UK until January 2016, although it appears to have been sent before Christmas. That’s one of the small perils about holiday postage.

Judge Dredd T-Shirt (Exclusive)
A bold design, carrying the famous catchphrase “I Am The Law”.
This is the first of two Judge Dredd items this month.
I value this at the T-Shirt standard of $10 USD.
Judge Dredd #1 Comic (Exclusive Cover)
This is the first in a new short series of comics published by IDW. The story arc is called Mega City Zero.
Being in the UK, which has its own long-established Judge Dredd continuity, I hadn’t realised that these separate runs of Judge Dredd comics were being published in North America.
This looks like an interesting read. The cover price for the non-variant cover is $3.99 USD.
Scarlet Witch #1 Comic
This is the first in a new Marvel series about a long-established character who I really don’t know much about.
Looks interesting and appears to be planned as an ongoing series, rather than a limited run.
The cover price is $3.99 USD.
Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 Comic
This looks like an interesting crossover, the first of six parts.
This carries the logos of both DC and IDW.
Looks like a lot of fun. I remember the TV version of the Turtles much more than the comic book version, but they’re recognisable in both forms.
The cover price for this one is $3.99 USD.
Batman and Lex Luthor Fridge Magnets (Exclusive)
These are decent size rectangular magnets and look well made.
There are lots of Batman Fridge Magnets available on Amazon.com. These aren’t the most desirable type, but I’ll value them at $2 USD each ($4 USD total).

Box Review
I make the box value $26 USD, which is almost exactly the regular cost price. Actually, I did save a few dollars with a special Black Friday sale offer.
This box is always a good low-cost gamble if you like comics.
There are two particularly interesting comics this month, in the Batman/Turtles crossover and in Judge Dredd. The T-Shirt is high quality as always.
Comic Block continues to provide high quality items. Looking forward to seeing what the next iteration of Comic Block will bring.
